In the Year of Cooperatives let’s highlight ongoing efforts to support Co-ops, Employee Ownership, and homecare at the federal level and how we are poised to address the economic challenges that many Americans see as the #1 issue facing the country.
• Partner Power: Leveraging your network for growth: Referral partnerships are the number one source of clients for home care businesses. But how do you go about building them and with who? Cooperators from across the country share their unique stories of developing partnerships in their communities to attract clients and caregivers.
• But who’s going to pay for it?: In this session attendees will learn about the different payers in home care–Private Pay, Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, Long Term Care Insurance, State and County Aging Departments– and will hear from cooperative leaders about their lived experiences breaking into these payer markets and the opportunities & challenges of serving them.
